I too was raised in a suppresive, legalistic, judgemental (Shall I go on?) religion that focussed more on the outward appearance rather than the true meaning of what being a CHRIST follower is all about! In being preoccupied by that mess, I lost time, opportunities, cracked-door moments of sharing the goodness and good news of GOD! But, I saw the light! I know what is feels like to have the ceiling lowered and the sky to fall. I also know how it feels to be lifted up where I belong...where the eagle fly....and to have life given to me. I now know who I am! That alone makes me want to go tell it on the mountain, that in CHRIST JESUS there is hope and salvation........who doesn't want that?????? Rock on Joel Olsteen! In being preoccupied by that mess, I lost time, opportunities, cracked-door moments of sharing the goodness and good news of GOD!

But, I saw the light!

I know what is feels like to have the ceiling lowered and the sky to fall.

I also know how it feels to be lifted up where I belong…where the eagle fly….and to have life given to me.

I now know who I am!

That alone makes me want to go tell it on the mountain, that in CHRIST JESUS there is hope and salvation……..who doesn’t want that??????

This morning God said "Mathew 6:21"; "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also". When we are praying it can sometimes get consumed with all the things we want; our prayer lives become all about "me". During this time of prayer & fasting, put yourself aside and pray for others. I have seen true healing in many of my trials because I put my needs aside and prayed for someone else. Make it a point to pray for our Pastors. Always remember them, their children, and extended family. Your mouth is a true weapon. Maybe you can't send flowers to cheer them because you are broke; or you can't a comforting word to say in times like this...however God hears you. Prayer it's sooo much greater than you think.
